Course Outcome Project Space Request Form

Course Outcome Project Space Requests are assessed and approved by the Building Manager, Fire & Public Safety officer, Environmental Health & Safety officer, and Event Analyst.  Please complete and submit the following:

  • form and checklist
  • detailed sketches or images, elevations and plans with dimensions
  • identify on the floor plan where the project will be situated
  • details provided must allow the above parties to clearly understand your project, assess the appropriateness of the space and make the proper recommendations with regards to safety and security regulations

The goal is to ensure you have a successful course outcome project.

Please note the following:

  •  A minimum of 20 - 30 business days is required to process requests depending on complexity and volume.
  • For class course outcome events (reception), an Event Space Request form must be completed by the instructor.
  • For individual course outcome events (reception), an Event Space Request form must be completed by the booking officer of a recognized student association or by a staff or faculty department representative.

List the materials that will be used in the performance or installation (including adhesives)
Describe how the space will be used or changed. How will the work be attached, installed, exhibited, fastened, suspended? Will chairs, tables, dividers, support structures, be added to the space?
Provide the dimension and weight of your project and the weight-bearing capacity of any support structure you intend to use or build
Attendance
How many attendees do you anticipate? You, performers and participants included.
How will the performance/installation interact with the space?
Will there be audience participation? if so, please describe how the interaction will happen.

Documentation
Please make sure to provide the following additional documentation for your request.
Detailed sketches or images, elevations and floor plan indicating dimensions, location of your project and any space modifications. File types accepted are: PDF, PNG and JPG
Complete list of materials including MSDS, if applicable. File types accepted are: PDF, DOC, DOCX, PNG and JPG
List of equipment and power consumption needs, if applicable. File types accepted: PDF, DOCX, DOC, PNG and JPG
